In case of operational necessity, the GP-7 gas mask can be purchased in Ukraine either as a single unit or in bulk.

The civilian GP-7 gas mask is designed to protect the respiratory organs, eyes, and facial skin of the adult population from chemical warfare agents, emergency chemically hazardous substances (excluding ammonia and its derivatives), radioactive dust, and biological aerosols.

It may be used by personnel of non-regular emergency rescue units of the civil defense forces.

The facepiece of the GP-7 civilian gas mask consists of a voluminous mask body equipped with a sealing facepiece molded as a single unit with the mask body, a goggle assembly with flat round lenses, a speech diaphragm, inhalation and exhalation valve assemblies, and a five-point head harness for attachment to the mask body.

The facepiece can be equipped with a drinking device (tube), allowing the wearer to drink from a canteen while operating in a contaminated atmosphere.

The variation of the civilian GP-7 gas mask with a facepiece equipped with a drinking device is called the GP-7V.

The facepiece does not cover the ears.

It comes with anti-fog inserts for the goggle lenses and may also be equipped with insulating cuffs to prevent the lenses from freezing in subzero temperatures.

The facepiece is produced in three sizes: 1, 2, and 3.

The filtering-absorbing canister of the GP-7 civilian gas mask has a cylindrical shape with an external threaded neck for attachment to the facepiece.

The canister body is made of metal. It contains an absorbent layer (sorbent mixture) and an anti-aerosol filter.

The GP-7 civilian gas mask set includes:

• MGP facepiece (for GP-7) or MGP-V (for GP-7V) – 1 piece
• Filtering-absorbing canister (FPC) GP-7k – 1 piece
• Gas mask carrying bag – 1 piece
• Insulating cuffs – 2 pieces (based on 40% of the batch)
• Canteen cap – 1 piece (only for GP-7V)
