Description
The idea of buying a Bullerjan-type stove for heating has become increasingly popular in recent years. This is primarily due to its versatility and fuel flexibility — it runs on virtually any organic material: firewood, straw, briquettes, pellets, husks, woodworking waste, etc. Coal is strictly prohibited for use in this stove.
Ukraine produces the POT-5 Bullerjan stove in sufficient quantities to meet both domestic demand and, if needed, supply international markets. That’s why purchasing a Bullerjan stove in Ukraine is simple — just place your order at ukrsiz.com.ua. For orders of more than ten POT-5 stoves, customers receive a significant discount.
Design and Operating Principle
The POT-5 stove consists of the following main elements:
- combustion chamber
- convective heat exchange chamber
- loading window
- air intake pipe with a damper
- exhaust flue pipe with a damper
- protective casing
Once the fuel is ignited in the combustion chamber, the unit heats up and, in turn, warms the air in the heat exchange chamber. This creates convective airflow, enabling effective circulation and uniform heating of the room through continuous movement and mixing of the air.
Safety Instructions
- The stove is intended for air heating of rooms up to 150 m³.
- It must be installed on a non-combustible base, at least 500 mm away from flammable materials.
- Combustible flooring in front of the loading door must be protected by a steel sheet at least 0.5 mm thick.
- A chimney with a minimum diameter of 100 mm is required.
- Use personal protective equipment to avoid burns during operation.
- Installation and flue gas venting must comply with SNiP 2.04.05, section 3.
- Do not block the cold air intake at the bottom of the stove to prevent overheating.
Operation and Maintenance
- Load the fuel into the combustion chamber and ignite it. (Top ignition is recommended — it ensures slower burning and allows combustion gases to burn off in the secondary chamber, improving efficiency.)
- Once ignited, close the loading door and adjust the burn rate using the intake and exhaust dampers. To enter smoldering mode, close both dampers approximately 90%.
- Avoid prolonged operation in high-flame mode — this may overheat and damage the stove. (Peeling paint is a sign of overheating.)
- Clean the combustion chamber only after the fire has completely burned out.
- Before first use indoors, fire up the stove outdoors to burn off the lacquer coating on the surface paint.
Manufacturer’s Warranty
- The manufacturer guarantees that the stove meets the requirements for operation, transport, and storage.
- Warranty period: 2 years from the date of purchase.
- The warranty is void if the stove is overheated or fueled with non-recommended materials.
