How to Choose the Correct Gas Mask Size

Для того, щоб правильно намалювати розмір лицьової частини антигазу, необхідно використовувати 2 види головок:

– горизонтальний обхват

– вертикальний обхват.

Горизонтальний обхват імітують за допомогою сантиметрової палички, голову завивають по закритому кілку над бровами, збоку на 2-3 см край раковини і ззаду через набухає частина вибоїни. Вертикальний обхват вимірюється по замкнутій лінії через купол, бічні і щоки. Результат зображень округляється до 5 см.

Підсумовуючи ці дві величини, визначаємо стандартний розмір лицьової частини, тобто розмір маски і положення опор лямок наголов’я, в якому вони фіксуються Стандартний розмір маски повинен бути записаний у вигляді трьох цифр, наприклад, «3-4-7», при цьому перша цифра – це номер лобової лямки, друга – скронева і третя – щічна . Визначення необхідної кількості ремінних упорів.

до 56 см. – 1 розмір

від 56 до 60 см. – 2 розмір

понад 60 см. – розмір 3.

Шолом-маска ШМП

Є два шляхи. У першому випадку основою вибору стають результати індивідуальних вимірів голови. Щоб вибрати протигаз, потрібно виміряти голову у вертикальному обхваті: від маківки до підборіддя, через щоки. Досить порівняти результат з відповідним значенням в таблиці:

Якщо використовувати другий спосіб, то розмір протигаза можна визначити на підставі двох вимірів. Вимірювати голову потрібно від скроні, через щоку, підборіддя, другу щоку і верхню частину. Друге значення отримують, вимірюючи голову через вушні отвори і брови.

Результати узагальнюємо і порівнюємо з таблицею:

To correctly determine the size of the facepiece of the gas mask, two head measurements must be taken:

•Horizontal circumference

•Vertical circumference

The horizontal circumference is measured with a measuring tape wrapped around the head in a closed loop — above the eyebrows, 2–3 cm to the side of the ears, and at the back through the most protruding part of the occiput. The vertical circumference is measured along a closed line over the crown, sides, and cheeks. The measurement result is rounded to the nearest 5 cm.

By adding these two values, the standard size of the facepiece is determined — i.e., the size of the mask and the strap support positions on the head harness, where they are fixed. The standard mask size should be recorded in the form of three digits, for example, “3-4-7”, where the first digit indicates the forehead strap number, the second — the temple strap, and the third — the cheek strap.

• Up to 56 cm - Size 1

• 56 to 60 cm - Size 2

• Over 60 cm - Size 3

There are two ways to determine the correct size. In the first method, the choice is based on the results of individual head measurements. To choose the right gas mask, measure the vertical head circumference: from the crown to the chin, passing over the cheeks. Then simply compare the result with the corresponding value in the size chart:

If using the second method, the gas mask size can be determined based on two measurements. The head should be measured starting from one temple, across the cheek, under the chin, over the second cheek, and up to the opposite temple. The second measurement is taken by measuring the head across the ear openings and eyebrows. The results are then combined and compared with the table:
