1. Technical and Quality Characteristics

The SHMP helmet mask complies with the requirements of the Technical Regulation on Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and DSTU EN 136.

The SHMP is manufactured in four sizes: 1, 2, 3 and 4.

Field of Vision

• Effective field of vision of at least 60%;
• Occluding field of vision of no more than 20% in relation to the normal field of vision.

Temperature Resistance

After exposure to heat and subsequent return to ambient temperature, the mask does not exhibit any noticeable deformation.

Warranty

Shelf life in the original factory packaging:
10 years at a storage temperature from −40°C to +50°C and relative humidity of up to 98%.

Warranty period of operation:
12 months from the date the product is put into service.

Aerosol Protection Class

Respiratory Protection

Provides respiratory protection against the harmful effects of:

• organic gases and vapors with a boiling point above 65°C;
• inorganic gases and vapors;
• sulfur dioxide and other acidic gases and vapors;
• ammonia and organic derivatives of ammonia.

The filter also provides reliable protection against radioactive and microbiological aerosols at nuclear power plants and radiochemical production facilities.

The FGM C A2B2E2K2P3 R D gas mask filter is lightweight and highly reliable due to its housing made of impact-resistant thermoplastic polymer.

The standard threaded connection Rd 40 × 1/7″ (DSTU EN 148-1:2004) allows the filter to be easily, securely and tightly connected to the mask and prevents incorrect installation.

The large internal volume of the gas mask filter allows for extended use, while its low breathing resistance provides comfortable use.

Filter Markings

A2 (brown) – Class 2 protection against organic gases and vapors with a boiling point above 65°C.

B2 (grey) – Class 2 protection against inorganic gases and vapors.

E2 (yellow) – Class 2 protection against sulfur dioxide and other acidic gases and vapors.

K2 (green) – Class 2 protection against ammonia and organic derivatives of ammonia.

P3 (white) – Class 3 protection against radioactive and microbiological aerosols at nuclear power plants and radiochemical production facilities.

D – the filter has passed the dolomite dust test and may be used in highly dusty environments.

R – reusable filter.

The gas mask filter fully complies with the requirements of DSTU EN 14387:2017.

FGM C A2P3 R D filters must only be used for protection against hazardous substances corresponding to the filter type and its designated color code.

Gas Mask Carrying Bag

The bag is made of blended fabric:

• 70% polyester
• 30% cotton

Available colors: blue, khaki, camouflage.

• copy of the Type Examination Certificate;
• copy of the Declaration of Conformity of PPE with the requirements of the Technical Regulation (approved by Resolution No. 771 of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated August 21, 2019);
• copy of the State Sanitary and Epidemiological Examination Conclusion;
• operating instructions;
• product passport.
